priestesses of Divine Artemis rules this ninth month as Demeter, Corn Goddess, the Goddess
of Abundance and Fertility who presides over the flowing fields of ripening wheat that
characterizes this season of the year. During this month, the goddess's feast is
celebrated by Roman Catholics as the birthday of the Virgin Mother of God.
