The twelfth month in the lunar sequence was anciently
assigned the letter P and the number 7, for it is the seventh month since the height of
the powers of the feminine celebrated at Summer Solstice, which is itself the seventh
month from Winter Solstice, the beginning of the year. The seventh Sephira on the Tree of
Life is the Sphere of Venus, the feminine sphere of Nature and her bounty for which we
give thanks at this time of year with the feasts of Thanksgiving and Harvest Home. This
month also marks the sign of the Archer, Sagittarius, Atu XIV in the Tarot, corresponding
to the twenty-fifth path of the Tree of Life. By Least Number method: 25 = 2 + 5 = 7.
