Z = 32
The letter Z, the last letter of the English alphabet is
double S, and has its double value 32, which signifies finality: the thirty-second path of
the Tree of Life is the final Tarot trump, The Universe, symbolic of the
completion of a cycle. Thirty-two is 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 ~ two multiplied through the active
energy of change represented by the factor five ~ it is a form of the Divine Will.
Qabalistically 32 is "forked
lightning", strongly suggested by the shape of the letter Z, which is the shape of
the "Lightning Flash", the path taken down the Tree of Life as Being
falls into Creation.
